Current Vacancies

  • Tautohetohe Whaipainga - Utilities Disputes (UDL) is an independent, not-for-profit company that provides resolution for complaints and disputes that companies have not been able to resolve with their customers. 

    We currently operate four dispute resolution schemes: 

    • the Government approved Energy Complaints Scheme, which includes electricity and gas supply
    • the Government approved Broadband Shared Property Access Disputes (BSPAD) Scheme, and 
    • the voluntary Water Complaints Scheme, and
    • the voluntary Telecommunications Complaints Scheme.

    A vacancy has arisen for an Industry Representative to join the Water Scheme Advisory Committee.

    The Terms of Reference for the Water Scheme Advisory can be viewed here.

    This is an unpaid role. The term is for three years up to a maximum appointment of six years. 

    The Advisory Committee meets four times a year in Wellington and may be attended in person or virtually.  Meetings generally last one to two hours.  There may also be an occasional special meeting.
